2025 North Cross Pro Surfboard

2024 North Cross Surfboard

Performance Crossover

sizes:5ft 1in, 5ft 3in, 5ft 5in

Thinner, lighter and stronger, the new Pro version of the Cross is a fast, responsive and versatile one-board quiver for shredding surf, riding deep in the pocket, popping strapless freestyle tricks, driving effortlessly upwind or carving a tight turn. Crafted in our strongest technology, Dynalite, the new Cross Pro is ultra-lightweight and low-volume, with a thin yet durable high-density impact-resistant PVC core. It has a traditional surf outline and rocker for speed, power, and flow in critical manoeuvres. Its concave deck and full-length bottom channel with centre-V bring you closer to the water surface for smooth, direct input and control. The rounded pin tail enables easy, sharp turns and gives you improved control at the top end, while the low-entry rocker aids acceleration and drive. We’ve included strap inserts, so you can ride it more like a TwinTip, throw massive jumps or hit gnarly lips. If you’re weighing up the Cross Pro and Charge Pro, the Cross Pro is slightly wider. It will perform better in smaller, mushy waves and onshore conditions, and can handle harder landings.

TECHNOLOGY

Lightweight low-volume shape
Durable low-volume, high-density PVC core design for faster feedback and more direct rider response. Its thin profile and lighter weight makes handling so much easier. The lower volume makes the board less buoyant on the water, which means softer landings that are easier on your body, because there is less counter-force on landings.

DynaLite Technology
High-performance DynaLite construction with carbon-reinforced laminate layup delivers lightweight strength and stiffness for faster feedback and more explosive pop. Biaxial Glass layers provide torsional strength, while stepped layers of unidirectional carbon reinforcement tape in specific high-stress rail areas dial in the global longitudinal flex of the board.

Full-length bottom channel with deep-v
Controlled grip and release. The refined hull shape with deep-V centre channel gives the rider more control of the board, improves traction, reduces bounce in chop and rides smoothly out of critical landings.

Low-entry surf rocker
For fast acceleration, speed and drive. The low-entry surf rocker makes the board easy to ride with great upwind ability for getting back to the take-off zone.

Compact Surf Outline
Comfortable in the waves and forgiving to ride, the balanced outline gives more control in all conditions. The rounded pintail reduces the tail area behind the fins and makes the board more responsive off the back foot.

Thruster fin setup
The Cross Pro has a 3-fin set up for performance and weight savings. We recommend our North Hexcel Coremat fins, lightweight and durable with smooth traction. Our custom fin base shape does not require FCSII infills. Fins are sold separately.

FCSII premium fin box
Compatible with both FCSI and click-in keyless FCSII fins for more speed & drive, quicker acceleration, and more response from your board.

No-slip deck grip with toe bump and rear wedge kicker
Textured one-piece micro-corduroy deckpad with intuitive front toe bump and rear wedge kick for maximum traction and control.

Foot strap insert options - recommended with Free Surf Straps
For when conditions get challenging, locking the rider into a comfortable stance for control in high winds or large waves.

Honeycomb mesh packaging
We’ve removed all plastic from our surfboard packaging, replacing it with a unique cushioning material that mimics honeycomb.
